PRIVACY POLICY FOR B-LOOK

This Privacy Policy explains how B-Look ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the B-Look mobile application.

By using B-Look, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. ABOUT B-LOOK

B-Look is an AI-powered photo styling app that helps users explore hairstyle, outfit, makeup, and accessory ideas using photos they choose to upload.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect only the information needed to provide the app, manage accounts, process edits, enforce usage limits, show ads, and support subscriptions.

Account information:

If you use guest mode, we create an anonymous account and do not collect your name or email address.

If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, display name, and a Google account identifier. We do not receive your Google password.

Photos and images:

When you choose a photo for editing, the photo is uploaded to our backend so the requested AI edit can be processed. The edited result is then returned to your device.

We do not sell your photos.

We do not use your photos to train our own AI models.

Saving or sharing edited images happens only when you choose to do so.

Device identifier:

We generate a one-way hashed identifier derived from your device Android ID. This is used to enforce free edit limits and prevent abuse. We do not use this identifier for advertising.

Usage and subscription data:

We store your plan type, edit usage count, edit reset date, and subscription entitlement status.

If you purchase a subscription, payment is processed by Google Play Billing. We receive purchase status and entitlement information from Google, but we do not receive or store your full payment card details.

Advertising data:

B-Look may display ads through Google AdMob. Google AdMob may collect device, advertising identifier, and ad interaction data according to Google’s privacy policies.

Diagnostic and technical data:

Our backend may process technical logs such as request timestamps, error messages, and service responses to operate, debug, secure, and improve the app.

3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We use collected information to:

Provide AI photo editing features.

Authenticate users and maintain sessions.

Process Google sign-in.

Apply free and paid edit limits.

Process and verify Google Play subscriptions.

Restore purchases.

Show ads to free-tier users.

Prevent abuse and fraud.

Debug errors and improve reliability.

Comply with legal and platform requirements.

4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

B-Look uses third-party services to operate core features:

Supabase:

Used for backend hosting, authentication, database storage, user sessions, credit tracking, and server functions.

Google Sign-In:

Used for optional account login.

Google Gemini AI:

Used to process uploaded images and generate AI styling edits.

Google AdMob:

Used to display and measure ads.

Google Play Billing:

Used to process subscriptions and verify purchase entitlement.

Google Play Developer API:

Used by our backend to verify subscription purchases and subscription status.

These providers process data according to their own privacy policies.

5. AI IMAGE PROCESSING

When you request an AI edit, your selected photo is sent to our backend and forwarded to an AI provider to generate the edited image.

The photo is used to fulfill your request.

The photo is not sold.

The photo is not used by us to train our own AI models.

We do not provide a permanent public gallery of your uploaded photos.

AI providers may process submitted content according to their own terms and privacy policies.

6. DATA RETENTION

Account, subscription, usage, and device-hash data may be retained while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, enforce limits, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations.

Uploaded photos are processed to generate the requested result and are not intended to be stored as a permanent user gallery.

Diagnostic logs may be retained for a limited time for security, debugging, and service operation.

If you request deletion, we will delete or anonymize associated personal data unless we are required to keep it for legal, billing, fraud prevention, or security reasons.

7. DATA SHARING

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information only as needed with service providers that help us operate the app, including authentication, backend hosting, AI processing, advertising, billing, and purchase verification providers.

We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, platform rules, fraud prevention, or to protect the rights and safety of users, the app, or others.

8. SECURITY

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted network connections and access controls.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

B-Look is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required in your country.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

10. YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS

You may choose not to sign in with Google and use guest mode where available.

You may request access to or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.

If you signed in with Google, please contact us from the email address associated with your account. If you used guest mode, include enough information to help us locate your guest records.

11. ADS AND ADVERTISING IDENTIFIER

Free-tier users may see ads served by Google AdMob.

Depending on your device settings and applicable law, Google may use your advertising identifier to serve and measure ads. You can reset or limit your advertising ID in your Android device settings.

Paid subscription plans may remove ads where offered in the app.

12. INTERNATIONAL DATA PROCESSING

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including locations where our service providers operate. These countries may have different data protection laws from your country.

13. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we update it, we will change the “Last updated” date above.

Continued use of B-Look after changes means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
